A Dream Come True

~Ira loves fan girling. She checks out all the updates of her idol Celine Dion. She joins a lot of games and different stuffs related to Celine Dion. One day she answered the question to the official website of Celine Dion and she won a trip to US and was chosen to meet up her idol and have an interview with her. The interview will lasts for five hours so she can take pictures of her, ask stuffs and get to know her idol better.

Ira: *after receiving the letter that she will meet up with Celine Dion* OMG.  I can’t believe this I won a trip to US and I will meet up with Celine Dion!!!!!!!! I AM DYING RIGHT NOW. *screams*

She started packing her things and fly to US.

Ira and Ms. Celine Dion will meet up at a studio where Celine Dion does her music.

Ira: I can do this. I am so excited to meet her. I can’t wait!

Ira enters the studio and there Celine Dion is waiting. She was dazzling. She was really beautiful. She was tall, white and gorgeous.

Ira: H…iii…(Oh my gosh I think I’m going to faint). *kissed and hugged Celine Dion*
I can’t still believe that I am actually touching my idol.

Celine Dion: Don’t be nervous. This will be fun. But before that I want to congratulate you. Your answer was the best to our question “Why you want to meet Celine Dion.” You’re answer came from the heart. I felt it.

Ira: I’m so flattered. Thank you so much.

A girl enters and gave us Starbucks coffee.

Celine Dion: So tell me about yourself.

Ira: I’m Ira Cristina Santos from the Philippines. I am such a big fan of yours. Me and my mom collects all of your albums. We are actually obsessed with your voice and songs.

Celine Dion: That is so cute. So you are a singer too?

Ira: I do sing but I am not that very good at it. I am just an average singer.

Celine Dion: Well that isn’t a bad thing. Everybody starts with zero. Just keep practicing and maybe one day you’ll be famous too.

Ira: Awww. That was really touching thank you so much! Uhm. I would like to ask you some questions. J Where do you get your inspiration in writing this wonderful songs?

Celine Dion: Well, I get my inspiration form my family, my kids, and of course form my own experiences. I am able to write these songs through my experience all the things that are happening to me or to somebody.

Ira: Ohhh. Since when did you love singing?

Celine Dion: I don’t know the exact date but maybe since I was born. I used to join a lot of singing competitions when I was young.

Ira: That’s really amazing! What can you say to all your fans out there who will never get tired of supporting you?

Celine Dion: Thank you so much! I owe you my life.

Ira: Uhm this may sound embarrassing but can I share a story to you?

Celine Dion: Of Course. Feel free!

Ira: I remember when I was seven I joined a singing competition. I let my nerves get into me. I wasn’t able to sing well and I forgot most of the lyrics. I felt really embarrassed that day. I think that’s why I had a stage fright.

Celine Dion: Don’t be! It all happens to us. We all learn from our experiences. Sometimes you just need to be confident. Actually you have to be confident and you must believe in yourself. I believe that you are a good singer. You don’t have to care about the people who try to down you. Just believe in yourself and trust me you will be successful in anything you do.

Ira: gosh. Thank you so much. That means a lot! For my last question before we end this which I don’t want to end because I want to know you better. Can you give some tips and advices to those who want to follow your footsteps?

Celine Dion: Believe in yourself. Discipline is also a key. Determination and as long as your happy with what you are doing you will be successful. You have to be confident, don’t be pessimistic. Always believe in yourself. You can do it!

Ira: Thank you so much. This is the best day ever. This day will not be forgotten. It was really nice to meet you.

Ira: But before we end this can you sing for me? Pleaseeee?

Celine Dion: Of course! I’d love to. What song would you love to hear?

Ira: Uhmm. A new day has come.

Celine Dion: Okay then!

Ms. Celine Dion sings for Ira. After singing she hugged and kissed Ira. She gives her bouquet of flowers, posters and her albums with her signature on it. They took a picture together and she left.

After the interview Ira can’t still believe that she met her idol and she actually interviewed her. She learned so many things and it was a dream come true.
