We were made differently. Some
are these so called " geeks" who prefer to study and read the whole day
than to stay physically fit and do workouts. Some are these athletic people who
excel in sports. These two differ a lot from one another. First of all, a Geek
or a smart person excel in all SUBJECTS. While athletic people prefer to play
sports and do daily activities than to stick with books and reading. Usually
these athletic people are not that intelligent. It's not because they don't
like studying but they were made for sports. They were made to be better in
sports than in academics. While in intelligent people it is very rare to have
an intelligent people and also sporty. Because when we talk of intelligent,
smart, geeks we usually think of someone who is weak, doesn't do exercises and
not good in sports. Even this two personalities differ from each other they do
still have similarities. Excelling in sports or in academics both are obtained
through practice and study. Academically Excellent people and sporty people
must be determined, hardworking, and persevered for them to reach their goals
in life. Both of these also gone through pains, and struggles but when they got
hurt, this is when they get their rewards.
If I had the chance to choose
between academically excellent person from a sporty person, I would choose to
be an academically excellent person. For me, books first, studies first before
anything else. Because if I show good grades, it will lead me to a
brighter future. My learning in school dictates my future. If I excel in
academics there is a possibility than there is a bright future ahead of me,
unlike in sporty people they're career isn't for lifetime. It's temporary, they
can't be forever famous or they can't always use their sports skills in their
future. But it doesn't mean that when you stick to becoming an intelligent
person you will not do sports. We should be able to balance everything.
Remember it's the learning that counts. Whatever you learn from sports or in
school you should be able to apply it in your life that will help you.
To sum up this topic, it
doesn't really matter if your sporty; not sporty; intelligent : or not
intelligent as long as you know where you really excel this will help you make
better decisions in life. God has given you different talents and skills. We
should be thankful of it. And remember it's how we use our learning , when
and where to apply those.
~ We were not made perfect. but we were made to be
AMAZING.
